Join us July 27 & 28, 2023 for ILLUMINE!
Our Location
Conference in 2023 will be held at the beautiful Mirro Event Center in Fort Wayne, IN – 10622 Parkview Plaza Dr, Fort Wayne, IN 46845. The Mirro Center partners with non-profits (including FEC) to provide an elegant, state-of-the-art facility that promises to create a unique and memorable two days together.
Our Theme
“In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:4-5, NIV).
Our prayer is that the Lord would move us from being enraged or disengaged spectators of our world to being the grace-filled, light-bearing leaders He calls us to be.
Our Goal
These two days of sharing in worship, teaching, and fellowship together will unite, encourage, and empower FEC leaders for their specific contexts and ministries.
ILLUMINE Featured Speakers

Dr. Ed Stetzer
Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is a professor and dean at Wheaton College where he also serves as Executive Director of the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches; trained pastors and church planters on six continents; and has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is the Founding Editor of The Gospel Project, a curriculum used by more than 1.7 million individuals each week for bible study.

Armando Lezcano, Jr.
Armando serves as the Multicultural and Mission Support Pastor at Life Community Church in Hilliard Ohio (Columbus). He was born and raised in Havana Cuba. Growing up under a communist regime made for a difficult childhood. Armando’s parents came to faith when he was seven years old. But Armando’s journey to faith didn’t happen until he was 15. Having walked away from the faith, he was invited to a summer youth camp. At this camp Armando heard God’s call on his life and dedicated himself to preparing for full-time ministry. In 2015 Armando and his family moved to the United States. From 2016 to 2018 he served as Lead Pastor of Iglesia Amor Cristiano in Dublin Ohio. Today, Armando serves with Life Community Church.

Caleb Barrows
Caleb Barrows grew up in central Ohio before attending Taylor University (2006-2010) to study International Missions. There his dream to be a missionary shifted towards pastoral ministry and preaching which landed him at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (2011-2014). He worked for four years with two FEC church plants in Ohio and Michigan before moving to central Kansas in the fall of 2019 to plant King’s Cross Church. He now lives in Lyons, KS with his wife Nicole.

Donovan Coley
Donovan Coley is a native of Kingston, Jamaica and currently a resident of Fort Wayne, IN. He is a graduate of Fort Wayne Bible College, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.
Donovan is committed to the church, and the diversity reflected in scripture. He believes the church should be the hands and feet of Jesus in a changing world. A strong passion of Donovan is to see the marginalized and often “invisible” neighbors find their voice, passion and purpose with the outcome of being interdependent members of a healthy community. To that end, he has served in the role of President of the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission since March 2008. He has led the mission through radical changes with a solid footing for growth and sustainability. The organization in 2013, and Donovan himself in 2015 have been awarded the prestigious honor of being Northeast Indiana’s Torch Award winners, a symbol of business ethics, practice and excellence.
Donovan is also an ordained minister, and has given himself to the clear teaching of the word of God, the growth of the local church, and the discipleship of all Christ followers. He believes in the local church. He is excited about the possibilities of seeing new growth, stability and health for all members based on the authority of scripture, biblical worship and discipleship.
